Purelab Quest / Quest UV
One compact system providing Type I ultrapure, Type II pure and Type III reverse-osmosis water directly from a potable tap-water supply.
Designed for smaller laboratories and satellite spaces that need several laboratory water qualities without installing separate purification units. PURELAB Quest is available in standard and UV configurations, with the UV version selected where lower organic content and nuclease performance are important.
Type I, Type II and Type III water from one compact system.
18.2 MΩ·cm Type I ultrapure water at 25°C.
Up to 1.2 L/min with volumetric dispensing.
- 232 mm wide with benchtop or wall-mounted installation
Supplied and supported in Pakistan by Continental Worldwide Trading Company (CWTC).
Key Features
One System for Three Water Qualities
Type I, Type II and Type III water are available from one compact platform, reducing the need for separate purification units.
Compact Benchtop or Wall Installation
At only 232 mm wide, the system preserves valuable laboratory workspace and can be wall mounted using the optional kit.
Up to 1.2 L/min Dispensing
Fast delivery reduces waiting time, while automatic volumetric dispensing allows the operator to continue other work.
Periodic Recirculation & Guided Sanitisation
The design helps maintain stored-water quality and simplifies routine system hygiene with limited operator intervention.
Integrated 7 L Reservoir
Purified water remains available for normal daily use without requiring a separate reservoir in the standard arrangement.
Multiple Purity Sensors & Clear Display
Water quality and system condition are visible to the user, supporting reliable day-to-day operation.
Simple Consumable Access
Purification packs and routine consumables are designed for straightforward replacement.
Sustainability-Focused Construction
The system is manufactured using reclaimed materials and uses long-life consumables to reduce environmental burden.
Flexible Dispensing Option
Manual and volumetric dispensing modes provide convenient access to purified water for a wide range of laboratory applications.
Application Example
Analytical and life-science work
Routine HPLC mobile-phase and standard preparation, molecular biology and PCR workflows, spectroscopy, reagent preparation and other applications requiring 18.2 MΩ·cm water. Select Quest UV where low organic content or nuclease specifications are important.
General laboratory preparation
Buffer and media preparation, preparation of reagents and standards, general chemistry, pH solutions and routine analytical support work.
laboratory utility Application
Final glassware rinsing, water baths, autoclaves, humidifiers and other laboratory tasks that require reverse-osmosis-quality water rather than ultrapure water.

One system can provide Type I ultrapure water, Type II pure water and Type III reverse-osmosis permeate from a potable tap-water feed. For type III water, external reservoir must be connected.
Both models provide the same three water grades and daily-volume positioning. Quest UV adds 185/254 nm UV purification, reducing Type I TOC to below 5 ppb and providing specified RNase and DNase performance. Standard Quest has a published Type I TOC below 30 ppb.
Yes. PURELAB Quest has an integrated 7 L reservoir. Optional 15 L and 30 L external reservoirs are available where additional storage is required.
The Quest family provides 18.2 MΩ·cm Type I water. Quest UV is the stronger selection where lower organic content or nuclease performance is important. The final water specification should always be checked against the analytical method and instrument requirements.
No. The UV stage reduces organic contamination and supports a published Type I TOC specification below 5 ppb, but the system should not be presented as having real-time TOC monitoring.
