Where the Eco Titrator fits in laboratory workflows
TAN/TBN and Petroleum-Product Determinations
TAN / acid number, TBN / base number, bromine number, mercaptans, chloride and other routine petroleum-product determinations. The Eco Titrator Oil package is the primary starting point for non-aqueous TAN/TBN work.
Dye-Bath and Redox Chemistry Control
Redox monitoring of hydrosulfite ("hypo") and indigo dye-bath chemistry, plus acidity, alkalinity and related bath-control tests. Indigo/hydrosulfite work requires an application-specific method and may require a closed vessel and inert-gas handling; it is not a plug-and-play standard package.
Acid, Base and Concentration Testing
Assay of acids and bases, hydrochloric or phosphoric acid concentration, acidity/alkalinity, chloride, redox substances and other concentration tests where a validated potentiometric titration method is suitable.
Pharmacopeial Titrations
Aqueous or non-aqueous acid-base assays, redox assays, chloride and other pharmacopeial titrations where the selected electrode and method are appropriate. Customer validation and data-integrity requirements must be reviewed before quotation.
Routine Food-Quality Parameters
Titratable acidity, salt/chloride, vitamin C, iodine value, peroxide value, acid value and other routine food-quality parameters.
Alkalinity, Hardness and Water-Quality Testing
Carbonate alkalinity, calcium/magnesium hardness, chloride, sulfate, permanganate index, p-value and m-value with the suitable sensor and method.

Eco Titrator is for potentiometric titrations such as acid-base, redox, chloride, TAN and TBN. Eco KF Titrator is a separate Karl Fischer instrument for water-content determination.
Eco Titrator Oil is the normal starting package because it includes the 20 mL cylinder unit and Solvotrode easyClean for non-aqueous acid/base titration. The exact ASTM/IP method and solvent system must still be reviewed.
Eco Titrator Salt includes a 10 mL cylinder unit and Ag Titrode for precipitation titration with silver nitrate
The universal platform can support different potentiometric applications, but changing applications may require different electrodes, cylinder units, titrants, tubing and cleaning procedures. A dedicated package is simpler where one method group dominates.
